Why it costs money

The model is not free. A provider charges for every request the app sends. publik pays it, so there is no key to paste.

Each use has a published price. A typical use costs $0.001 at Fast, $0.01 at Balanced and $0.018 at Smart, from your balance.

publik keeps part of it. The price is above what the model costs publik. Half the difference keeps publik running; half goes to the developer of the app. Audio, embeddings and images carry no markup.

Card processing is passed through. Plan and pack prices include Stripe's fee: 2.9% + 30¢ a payment, and 0.7% more on a plan. publik keeps none of it.
