Install Oatmeal

  1. Download Oatmeal

    About 3 MB.

    Download Oatmeal-1.8.2-apple-silicon.dmg

    You know this worked when: Oatmeal-1.8.2-apple-silicon.dmg finished downloading

  2. Find the download

    Oatmeal lands in your Downloads folder — open it from there.

    You know this worked when: You can see the downloaded file

  3. Install Oatmeal

    macOS calls it "damaged" — harmless. Terminal: xattr -cr /Applications/Oatmeal.app

  4. Allow Microphone

    In Privacy & Security, turn on Microphone for Oatmeal.

  5. Allow Screen Recording

    In Privacy & Security, turn on Screen Recording for Oatmeal.

  6. Open Oatmeal

    Find it where you installed it and open it.

    Oatmeal should be open and ready to use.
