Every dollar goes to builders, not to publik. Each month we split it across the apps people used, by active installs.
Stripe Checkout: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Stripe's fee comes out first; publik keeps nothing.
How the money is split
- Your donation goes into one pool, minus Stripe’s card fee.
- On the 1st of each month, we count each app’s active installs for the month before: people who downloaded it through publik, plus installs that used publik API.
- Each builder gets the pool times their apps’ share of those installs. It goes into their publik earnings.
- publik keeps nothing. Cents that do not divide evenly stay in the pool for next month.
